1. Check the funnel's condition
   Nothing should obstruct the funnel (insects, dirt, leaves,...)
    
2. Check the spoon's condition
   Nothing should interfere with the spoon's tipping movement: 
   
   

• Check that the wires do not interfere with the spoon's tipping movement
• Clean the inside of the spoon with a damp cloth
• Check the spoon's axis (red arrows), some dirt may get stuck there, clean it with a brush
• Clean around and beneath the spoon (spider webs, insects, leaves, dirt, etc.)
