How do I connect my Weenat weather station to Cropwise Protector?

  • Updated

Weenat has developed an integration that allows you to retrieve and use your sensor data in Cropwise Protector.

Cropwise Protector is a decision-support tool dedicated to crop protection. It relies on predictive models integrating weather data and the biological cycles of the main pests and pathogenic agents in order to estimate the risk of development of diseases and harmful insects on various crops. The tool provides alerts and risk level indicators at the plot scale, and offers a forecast view to anticipate periods favorable to infections and infestations. It thus contributes to supporting the positioning of crop protection interventions and the monitoring of crop protection strategies.

On the Weenat side

  1. Once your station is linked to a plot, from the plot, click on "Add an integration" in the plot settings
  2. Select "Cropwise Protector"
  3. Click on "Activate"
  4. The integration is activated

On the Cropwise Protector side

  • Go to Cropwise Protector

  • Click on "edit information" then on "add a provider"

  • Enter the email address you use to log in to Weenat and Cropwise Protector

  • Click on "Connect", your weather stations will be retrieved

  • You then need to link your weather stations to your Cropwise Protector plots.

  • To do so, select your plots from the "Associate plots" list and click on "Save"

The integration is now operational.
