How do I connect my Weenat weather station to Xarvio?

  • Updated

Weenat has developed an integration that allows you to retrieve and use your sensor data in xarvio Field Manager.

Xarvio Field Manager is a decision-support platform designed to optimize the management of arable crops. It combines agronomic models, weather data, satellite imagery and plot information to generate recommendations related to crop protection, fertilization and intra-field management. The tool offers modulation maps and risk indicators to adjust interventions to the specific conditions of each plot.

Prerequisites

In order to activate Xarvio on your plots, you need:

  • At least one plot.
  • A physical weather station or a virtual weather station linked to the plot.
  • A xarvio account.

On the Weenat side

  • Create a plot and link a weather station (you can link other sensors if you wish)
  • Activate the xarvio option from this plot
  • A pop-in appears with your organisation ID
  • Copy the code (your farm ID)

On the Xarvio side

  • Go to My account and then to Weather stations
  • Select Weenat from the list of weather station providers
  • Paste the code into the field in the window that appears
  • Click on the "Connect a Weenat weather station" button

On the Weenat side

Activate the xarvio integration on as many plots as desired; their data will be sent to xarvio automatically.

The integration is operational.
