How do I connect my Weenat weather station to Movida GrapeVision?

  • Updated

Weenat has developed an integration that allows you to retrieve and use your sensor data in Movida GrapeVision.

Movida GrapeVision is a decision-support tool dedicated to vineyard health monitoring. It is based on epidemiological models incorporating weather data and the biological cycles of the main pathogenic agents in order to estimate the risk of development of fungal diseases such as downy mildew, powdery mildew, black rot, or botrytis. The tool provides risk level indicators at the plot scale and offers a forecast view to anticipate periods favorable to infections. It thus helps support the positioning of fungicide applications and the monitoring of vineyard protection strategies.

Prerequisites

In order to activate Movida GrapeVision on your plots, you need:

  • At least one plot.
  • A physical weather station or a virtual weather station linked to the plot.
  • A Movida GrapeVision account.

On the Weenat side

  1. Create a plot and link 1 weather station to the plot
  2. In the plot configuration panel, click on "Add an integration"
  3. Select "Movida GrapeVision"
  4. Click on "Activate the integration"
  5. A window appears with a code to copy

On the Movida GrapeVision side

  • Go to "My account"
  • Click on "Weather stations"
  • Under "Private weather station", select "Weenat"
  • Paste the code you copied from Weenat into the "Weenat Organisation" field and click on "Confirm"
  • The list of private weather stations updates with your stations
  • Then, access one of your plots on Movida GrapeVision (from the home page)
  • Click on "Plot properties"
  • In the "Private station information" section, select "Weenat" in the "Provider" field and select the Weenat plot on which you activated the Movida GrapeVision option
  • You can even specify a synchronization start date.

The integration is operational.
