How can I link my Weenat weather station to Limacapt?

  • Updated

Limacapt has developed an integration that allows you to retrieve and use data from your weather station in Limacapt.

To configure it, you need 2 things:

  1. Your Weenat API key
  2. The weather station ID

On the Weenat side

Your Weenat API key

Creating an API key is very simple. Just go to this page https://app.weenat.com/me/api , click on "Create a key", give it a name and confirm. That’s it, your key is created. You just need to copy it to use it in Limacapt.

The weather station ID

To retrieve the weather station ID:

  1. Go to "All sensors",
  2. Click on the weather station you are interested in
  3. Retrieve the ID from your browser URL bar (it is the last number displayed in the URL)

Enable the integration on Weenat

Finally:

  1. Go to "Integrations"
  2. Select "Limacapt"
  3. Click on "Enable"
  4. Select the compatible plot(s) (equipped with a weather station (model "P+" only))

On the Limacapt side

Then, simply provide this information in Limacapt.

  1. Go to "Sensors"
  2. Select the Limacapt sensor you are interested in
  3. Click on "Link a weather station"
  4. A pop-up window opens:

5. Select Weenat, paste your sensor ID and your API key

6. Your data is now synced. The integration is complete.
