Weephyt : make sure weather conditions are favorable for your phytosanitary treatments.

  • Updated

Weephyt is a decision support tool that helps you identify the most favorable time slots to spray phytosanitary treatments, based on upcoming weather conditions. It relies on agronomic reference thresholds for four major product families:

  • Contact foliar herbicides
  • Systemic herbicides
  • Anti-germinating and root system herbicides
  • Fungicides

How does it work?

For each product type, Weephyt evaluates four key criteria:

  • Temperature
  • Hygrometry
  • Wind (gusts at 1 meter)
  • "Expected post-spray delay without rain

Each criteria is evaluated individually based on technical thresholds. A color code is allocated to each value:

🟥 Red: Not recommended

🟨 Light green: Moderately recommended

🟩 Green: Favorable conditions

If only one criteria is red, the time slot is considered unfavorable for treatment.

How to read Weephyt display?

Weephyt in app EN.jpg

The tool is displayed as a 24-hour timeline.

Each dot on the timeline corresponds to an assessed time slot:

  • A green dot means all conditions are optimal for spraying.
  • A light green dot indicates that some conditions are moderately favorable, but there are no formal contraindications.
  • A red dot means that at least one criteria is unfavorable: treatment is not recommended at that time.

When selecting a time slot,  details of the weather data used in the assessment will be displayed: temperature, humidity, wind gusts, and delay without rain.

Example

At 4:00 PM, for a contact herbicide:

🌡️ Temperature: 20°C → 🟥

💧 Humidity: 51% → 🟥

💨 Wind gusts at 1 m: 26 km/h → 🟥

☔ Delay without rain: 2hrs → 🟩

Overall result: Unfavorable conditions

Weephyt is a decision-making tool. It does not replace technical advice or applicable regulations. The user remains solely responsible for the implementation of their treatments.
