You will need the following materials:
- A shovel
- A cloth
- Water
Follow these steps:
The day before removal
- Moisten the soil around the probe.
On the day of removal
- Moisten the soil again to soften it.
- Dig a few centimeters around the probe to free up space.
- Hold the probe by the grey part and make a quarter turn in one direction and then the other.
- Pull the probe out of the hole.
(If there is resistance, do not force it. Moisten the soil again and try once more.) - Rinse the probe with water and dry it with a clean cloth.
- Store the probe horizontally in a dry place.
(Your probe uses 12 times less energy when stored flat.)
