How to remove your Weenat Capacitive Probe?

You will need the following materials:

  • A shovel
  • A cloth
  • Water

Follow these steps:

The day before removal

  1. Moisten the soil around the probe.

On the day of removal

  1. Moisten the soil again to soften it.

  2. Dig a few centimeters around the probe to free up space.
  3. Hold the probe by the grey part and make a quarter turn in one direction and then the other.

  4. Pull the probe out of the hole.
    (If there is resistance, do not force it. Moisten the soil again and try once more.)
  5. Rinse the probe with water and dry it with a clean cloth.

  6. Store the probe horizontally in a dry place.
    (Your probe uses 12 times less energy when stored flat.)
