Why link a sensor to my plot?
Linking one or more sensors to a plot has several advantages:
- It allows you to group data from multiple sensors in a single place. This is even more true and useful for a tensiometer kit.
- This way, I can activate an integration and use my sensor data to feed a decision support tool.
- I can, for example, link a weather station to several plots (nearby or adjacent) and thus have access to ultra-local weather data history on different plots without having to purchase as many weather stations and supply multiple decision support tools (one per crop or one per plot).
How do I link a sensor to my plot?
There are two ways to do this:
- From a sensor page: "Configuration panel" -> "Link to a plot"
- From a plot page: "Configuration panel" -> "Add a sensor"
How do I unlink a sensor from my plot?
A sensor can only be removed from a plot from the plot page.
To do this, go to the plot configuration panel, click on the "..." to the right of the sensor you want to remove, then select "Remove the sensor from the plot".
