How to create a plot on the Weenat app?

The Plot is the heart of the Weenat app, in which you can track all the data from your sensors or spatialized weather. 

  • To create your plot from your phone, follow these simple steps:       

    1. Click on the + symbol (on the top right corner of the screen) and then on A plot

    2. On the map, use the search bar travel explore.svg to locate your plot's town or village, then zoom in as far as possible on the location of your plot for optimum precision.
      You can see on the map which sensors are located near your plot.
      Once the red dot is correctly located, click on Confirm

    3. At this stage you can choose between 2 options:

      - Add Weenat sensors by clicking on Sensors.
      (You can add sensors to your plot with the Plus or Expert subscription).

      - Activate a Spatialized Weather plot (available with the Plus subscription) or a Météo Vision plot, our spatialized weather solution recalibrated with field data (available with the Expert subscription) by clicking on Météo Vision.

    4. After clicking on Sensors, you can:

      - Select an existing sensor from your list, then click Next.
      - OR Add a new sensor. To do this, click on the symbol single-sensor-filled-add.svg , enter its serial number (find it on the back of the electronic box), click on Add, and then on Next.

    5. Finally, name your plot and click Confirm.

     

  • To create your plot from your computer, follow these simple steps: 

    1. Click on the + symbol.

    2. On the map, use the search bar travel explore.svg to locate your plot's town or village. Then click on the pan_tool.svg symbol and zoom in on the location of your plot using the scrolling wheel of your mouse for optimum precision.
      You can see on the map which sensors are located near your plot.

    3. Once you have located your plot, click on the  trace.svg  symbol and draw the outline of the plot. If you have made a mistake on the boundaries of your plot, click on the Delete - Remove - Bin.svg symbol and draw new boundaries.

    4. Once the boundaries of your plot are well defined, click on Confirm

    5. At this stage you can choose between 2 options:

      -  Add Weenat sensors by clicking on Sensors.
      (You can add sensors to your plot with the Plus or Expert subscription).

      - Activate a Spatialized Weather plot (available with the Plus subscription) or a Météo Vision plot, our spatialized weather solution recalibrated with field data (available with the Expert subscription) by clicking on Météo Vision.


    6. After clicking on Sensors, you can:

      - Select an existing sensor from your list, click on Add to plot, and then Next.

      - OR Add a new sensor. To do this, click on thesingle-sensor-filled-add.svg symbol, enter its serial number (find it on the back of the electronic box), click on Add to plot, and then on Next.

    7.  Finally, name your plot and click on Confirm
