Forecast Source

The weather forecast on the Weenat app is based on weather models from third-party organizations such as AROME (Météo France), ICON DE (Deutsche Wetterdienst), and GFS (NOAA). They do not come from your weather station.

A weather forecasting model requires significant computing power to generate a set of possible scenarios and determine the most likely one. Your weather station measures what is happening around it in real time (every 15 minutes) (rainfall, temperature, and humidity). The historical data from your station is stored on Weenat's servers, the forecasts come from a third-party source.

How to view them?

  1. From My Farm, select the plot or sensor where you want to see the forecast.
  2. Click on the menu. Then scroll down to select "Weather forecast."
  3. To access the details for a specific day, click on the day in question.
  4. You can then switch between metrics by clicking on each metric block. The chart updates.
